MISSON STATEMENT: Rescue and provide a safe haven for homeless animals, with a focus on providing them permanent homes. Our organization strives to make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need without our area, while also promoting responsible pet ownership.
Adoption Applications
All adopters must be at least 18 years of age and agree to NHR's adoption terms before being considered. An application does not guarantee approval for adoption. Adopters are approved based on the best home and lifestyle environment for the pet.
Note: We do not adopt dogs as gifts or surprises. All dogs must live indoors.
Foster Application & Information
We appreciate your interest in fostering pets for New Hope Rescue (NHR). Our foster program is designed to help dogs from local Alabama shelters and owner surrenders. Foster homes are asked to provide are for the dogs, assist with transportation to and from veterinary appointments and participate in adoption events held by NHR.
Completing this application is not a guarantee that you will be approved to foster an animal. Please read our foster manual prior to applying.

Surrender Form
New Hope Rescue, Inc (NHR) is 100% foster based. In spite of our best efforts to help as many animals as possible, we are only able to accept a limited number of owner surrenders.
If we are unable to assist in your time of need, please consider using Rehome, which is a trusted national program. Please remember to ask for personal and vet references as well as a rehoming fee.
